Our fourth annual user group conference Corepoint Connect kicks off tomorrow at the Marriott at Legacy Town Center in Plano, Texas. It's the highlight of our year because we get to spend time with hundreds of our customers in one place, discussing what we all know best – the importance of health data interoperability and Corepoint Integration Engine.
New for 2015 we have not one, but two keynote speakers: Ed Marx, tomorrow's opening keynote, will be followed on Thursday by David Chou. Ed and David are our first CIO keynote speakers.
For those keeping count, artist/patient advocate extraordinaire Regina Holiday (@ReginaHolliday) spoke in 2012, Business Innovation Factory's Elizabeth Stefanski helped us think about human-centered design in 2013, and the now-defunct GeekBeat.tv duo (say it ain't so!) of Cali Lewis and John P. had the crowd laughing last year as they explored the future "Internet of Things."
This year, Ed Marx will share 10 life principles that have helped him – "an average guy" – lead an extraordinary personal and professional life, which includes his recent role as CIO of Texas Health Resources and his current role as CIO of NYC Health and Hospitals Corporation. Conference attendees will also receive a copy of Ed's 2014 book, "Extraordinary Tales form a Rather Ordinary Guy."
For customers and readers of this blog who are not able to attend the conference, you can follow along on Twitter by searching for "#Connect ." We will also attempt to provide a live stream on Periscope of both keynote presentations. Follow @CorepointHealth at the time of each keynote for a link!
Let's take a look at what attendees can look forward to for the rest of Corepoint Connect 2015 (other than the phenomenal food and Friday's now-famous ice cream social):
