Corepoint Connect, our 5th-annual user conference, will kick off next week and we couldn’t be more excited to get so many of our customers under one roof!
Regular attendees will notice a few changes this year, as we have changed locations to the Westin Stonebriar Hotel and Golf Club in Frisco, Texas. This year’s conference will also feature more customer presentations, which is a great way to discover innovative ways you can put into action in your IT environment.
Customer’s scheduled to present include:
- HealthSouth Corp.
- UnityPoint Health
- North State Radiology
- Cook Children’s Health
- Halifax Health (Hurricane Matthew permitting)
We’re also excited to introduce former CIO and Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) – Located within the Office of the Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) coordinates nationwide ... Principal Deputy David Muntz as the opening day keynote. For those not familiar, Mr. Muntz was the second-highest ranking official at the ONC, serving under Dr. Farzad Mostashari until they both left the agency in 2013. Mr. Muntz and Dr. Mostashari were instrumental in launching and leading the national Meaningful Use program that accelerated Electronic Health Record (EHR), as defined in Defining Key Health Information Technology Terms (The National Alliance for Health Information Technology, April 28, 2008): An electronic record of health-related information on an individual that conform... adoption.
As usual, no attendee at Corepont Connect will go hungry. We have several dinners planned, including a Texas BBQ dinner at one of the state’s best restaurants and a farm-to table meal that would make Bobby Flay wave his white flag.
We’ll be welcoming everyone in 2016 with our usual Texas Hospitality and a desire to learn from each of you about how you’re connecting data to care across the country.conference, Corepoint Connect, david muntz, farzad mostashari, meaningful use, onc
